Capacity building and support for young prospects

The project has given me the opportunity to continue working for the most important international organization in the world.

I joined UNDP as an intern at the end of last year, just as post-election conflicts were at their peak. We all knew, back then, that if we were to collaborate in the reconstruction of the country and its social fabric, a joint effort between the new institutional actors and the international community would be essential.

Months later, my contributions did not go unnoticed. I thought my contract would finish and with it my journey into the United Nations System. It wouldn’t be like that. The electoral project believed in me and noticed my desire to learn and to contribute, so much, that it continues, to this date, giving me the first tools of my professional life.
