Directrices de Asistencia Electoral CE-PNUD
En 2006, la Comisión Europea y el PNUD fortalecieron y formalizaron su asociación de facto en el campo de la asistencia electoral internacional conla firma de las Directrices de Asistencia Electoral.
Las Directrices se renovaron en 2008 y más recientemente en abril de 2016, cuando fueron aprobadas y firmadas oficialmente por la antiguamente Administradora del PNUD, Helen Clark, y el Comisionado Neven Mimica (ver la video del evento a continuación).
Las Directrices establecen la Comisión Europea –PNUD Joint Task Force on Electoral Assistance (JTF) y establecen parámetros para la cooperación entre las dos organizaciones en temas como la formulación de proyectos, reclutamiento, visibilidad y apoyo operativo para los proyectos en curso y la resolución de problemas.
